Leadformly offers two options for embedding your form on your website; A Iframe embed code, and a raw embed code.

What’s the difference? Well, first it’s important to note that your form will look and feel exactly the same using either embed code. The difference comes down to loading speed and the ability to make advanced changes to your form’s code.

The Iframe embed code

The iframe embed code is our recommended option for the majority of users. When you use this embed code, any changes you make to your form in Leadformly will automatically update the form on your website without having to re-embed a new code. The downside to using the iframe embed code is that, because it loads all of your form’s code from Leadformly’s servers, it may load a bit slower.

The raw embed code

The raw embed code, on the other hand, will result in much faster loading speeds because it loads almost all of the CSS and JavaScript on your website. It also means that you (or your development team) can make changes directly to your form’s HTML without having to log in to Leadformly. This provides a lot of opportunity for advanced customisation. The downside to using the raw embed code is that it means any changes you make to your form in Leadformly won’t automatically update the form on your website. You will have to save your form and re-embed the new embed code.
